Need a start to your nutrition plan? Here is a very detailed nutrition plan used for my last 3 Ironman events. Don't panic, yours does not have to be this rigid but should fall in to the basic rule of 1 gram of carbohydrate/Kg of weight per hour. My race weight was 68kg for this program. It also includes examples of amino acid (which I recommend), caffeine and sodium. When you first read it, it may seem overwhelming but it is just divided in to 45 minute pieces.
